Hello All

We have been busy with Christmas parties, we have had something the last 2 Saturdays. Dads family came in on the 13th we decided to do it early so more of them could come. It gets so hard on Christmas to get everyone in one place at one time. It was a good day. Then on the 20th Moms side came in we had a great time. I have pics from all of this and will post soon. The kiddos are doing great. We are making big steps with potty training. I now believe they will do it when they are ready. Jonathan has refused to poop in the potty for months and all the sudden last week he said I need to poop. And he has every since. YEAH ! They are done training for the daytime with the occasional accidents, next comes night time. They say the funniest things. Here is a conversation from breakfast last week. I told them to get finished so we could go to Walmart. Jeremiah said "can we go see nemo" (goldfish at walmart) I said yes if you hurry up and get done. Jonathan said "NO we cant Nemo is DEAD !" I said no he is not. Jonathan said "Yes he is I BIT HIS HEAD OFF LAST NIGHT" (he ate nemo fruit snacks the night before) I was rolling in the floor laughing. He was so serious.
Then later Jeremiah was helping me change Gracie's outfit and I took her shirt off and said "OH mommy Gracie has 2 feeders" (her little boobies) I guess I need to be more careful to cover when nursing !! I cant believe the stuff they come up with. Never a dull moment around here.

Some new pics from the last few weeks. And Thanksgiving with family. We went to Matt mom and dads for lunch then his Grandmothers for dinner and this is were the boys are playing the piano and singing. And then all my sisters and there kids were at mom and dads for Saturday dinner. It was nice to all be together. I took the kids to see Shane Saturday morning. It was a great visit the boys took right to him which was good. I was thinking they would be scared. He seems to be doing good.

New pics from the last week or so. My attempt to get a fall pic of the kids, which was not good. Playing at the house. We bought Matt a airplane ride for his Birthday but he has been waiting till the leaves change to go. So him and Caleb(his brother) went last weekend. The pilot let the boys ride down the runway. They loved it !!
Gracie is in her own room now, we moved her out of the bassinet when she started sleeping through the night. She is doing great . Matt found this little frog outside and brought him in for the boys to play with. Everytime they touched him he hopped away.

Pumpkin Patch and new pics

We went to the pumpkin patch last week with our mops group and had a blast ! The boys loved it they had so much to do with all the animals, fields to play in and of course the tractor ride to the pumpkin field. Which it took them forever to pick the best pumpkin.
I was getting out winter stuff and they ask for the mittens and hats , I came in the living room and they were wrestling with them on and they said "it is my fight clothes " ?? I have no clue where this came from . But it was cute.
We have been going potty this last week and they are doing good, I think they finally get the idea. I cant wait !!

Gracie's 2month, Birthday and Election

Gracie had her 2 month check up , she was 12.8 pounds (81 %), 22 7/8 length (61 %). She is doing great and obviously a little pig !!

The boys had a wonderful party. We had the big party at the park Saturday. Thanks to all our friend's who came to help celebrate. And for all our new stuff ! Then Sunday Paw and Maw had another little party and gave them the power wheels trucks which they love. They did surprising good driving them. And today Tuesday we had our party here. Melissa and Kayla were here to help us celebrate. This is all so hard for me to grasp that they are already 3 !! Time fly's. Enjoy the pics

Also I want to urge everyone to GO VOTE !!! This election is so very important for us as Christians and we that stand on what America has for the last hundreds of years. But if Obama gets elected things are going to change for the worse.. For heaven sake he wont even pledge allegiance to the American flag ! And that is just the tip of the ice burg .. So please educate your self of the 2 candidate's and vote.

Update

Time is flying by. The boys party is this weekend, so we have been baking today cookies and cupcakes. We went to pumpkin town this past weekend just a fall festival in town. The boys went on a wagon ride , got a face painting, decorated pumpkins and played some games, It was a great family day. We got out the play gym for Gracie and she LOVES it, she kicks and makes noises everytime we put her in it. But the boys wont stay out of it.The are so crazy ! She is getting so big, we go for her 2 month check up in the morning. Will update soon with birthday pics.

After one last batch of apple butter, I am finally done canning. My apples are almost gone I am drying the rest of them. The boys love horses these are next to my mom and dads house. They helped me make cookies last week they love to help in the kitchen. We have already eaten all the corn our garden produced so we bought 6 dz to freeze the boys and I shucked corn for 1 1/2 hours. These night are getting cold fast.You can see my attempt to get a good pics of all 3 kiddos, hard work ! We went to Hunters Football game and the boys loved watching, but they were scared of Hunter in his uniform. Then we went over to Matt and Kayla's for a party and bond fire. When I told them we were going to a fire party, Jonathan said "no we cant go fire is not safe" ! So we had to explain this was a safe fire. They had a blast. They "camped out" in the floor with Kayla at nana's when we got home they are still asking to camp out. Life is so fun with them. Gracie is doing great ! She is smiling and becoming more vocal. The boys 3rd birthday is in a couple weeks I cant believe my babies will be 3 !! We went last week to pick out party stuff they picked animals, Jonathan wants a Zebra cake and Jeremiah wants a snake. So this is going to be tricky. Thanks for looking !

Canning

Last week I canned apples- ended up with 15 quarts of apple pie filling and 15 pints and 2 quarts of apple butter. The boys were great helpers with peeling the apples. We had fun working together.

This week I am doing pears. Today I got 12 jelly jars and 1 pint of pear butter. This is all hard work I never realized the work involved in all this, but we will enjoy the benefits of this all winter. Here is a pic of the finished work. And Gracie while I was canning.

Silly Boys

I knew this was coming. I turned around yesterday and Jonathan was nursing his baby doll. He had his little shirt lifted up and holding his baby on a pillow like I do with Gracie. SO of course Jeremiah had to do it too. Then he continued to say " my baby ain't dripping on me " .. They are so funny you never know what is going to come out of there mouth. I LOVE IT !!!

Update

Hello !!

Sorry for the lack of updates. Things have been a little crazy.
The last week and a half Jonathan has been delaing with a really bad ear infection so we have been dealing with that he has been miserable and just wants mommy to hold him. I dont think I have seen in him in such pain. But he is finally getting better.
Gracie is doing great, she is getting fat. We went back for her 4 week checkup and she is 8 lbs 15 oz so 2 pounds in 2 weeks ! She is such a good baby and alert we are all having so much fun with her. The boys just love her. When they talk to her they talk in that baby voice it is so sweet.
We had our first MOPS-mothers of preschoolers meeting today. It is just a chance for moms to get together and have mommy time! Which is great ,the boys go to a little class. Last year they hated it and screamed so I was so nervous today but they loved it and did wonderful . They are still talking about class.
We are also canning Apple Butter, Sauce and pie filling this week. We all went as a family last night and picked apples down the road. So I am up to my ears in apples, but it will be worth all the work to have all the yummy stuff.

Everyone is doing good just adjusting to our new life. Gracie is so sweet and a great baby !

Gracie's Here !!

She just could not wait until her scheduled date to come, she came 8 hours early. My C-Section was scheduled for 8 am Monday morning and I went in to active labor Sunday night at church so we headed to my parents to drop the boys off and head to the hospital. And she was born at 12:22 am Monday morning. Everything went good. She is a great baby, she eats every 3 hours and she sleeps great. The boys love her, just a little jealous at times. Thank you to everyone who ha been checking on us. Enjoy the hospital pics and we will post more pics soon.

Matt seems to think my belly is bigger with her than is was with the boys. The boys love to talk and kiss Gracie. Jonathan thinks you have to talk to her through my belly button- so cute !

If everything stays the same the C-section is Monday at 8 am .. We can't Wait !!

Gracie Update

I went in for a check up yesterday and everything is still the same no dilatation, so that is good.
They measured Gracie and she measured around 6.2 pounds and everything looked great they said she was a good size. But we would like to let her grow a little more. So my C-section is scheduled for Aug 11 if I can keep her in till then. So we are on the countdown and cant wait to see her. I get checked 2 times a week and at anytime if I have dilated they will go ahead and do the section. I am having contractions on a daily basis but at this point they are not changing anything. So I will continue to Bed rest ..

Vacation and Gracie Update

We went on a little vacation to Nashville this week and we had a great time. Matt had some training Monday and Tuesday so we spent time as a family in the evening those days. Then Wednesday we went to a State Park outside of Nashville to stay for a couple days. During our trip we went to the Zoo, Aquarium Restaurant, Shopping at the Opry Malls, Swimming numerous times, and the boys got to go on their first fishing trip.Jeremiah was the only one who caught a fish, but Jonathan just liked feeding them. During our trip the boys are learning to swim and are doing great with just water wings, we were so surprised how well they are doing. We had a great time as a family and really enjoyed the get away. I am working on getting all the pics from the trip up.

I have been having quite a bit of contractions so I went in this morning to get checked and I am 2 cm and 50 % effaced. I am 35 weeks and 2 days today. They gave me a shot to stop contractions and put me on bed rest. So hopefully these 2 combined will put a stop to the contractions and I can carry her a little longer. But we are so thankful for the amount of uncomplicated pregnancy that the Lord has blessed us with this time. We will keep you updated.

BIg Boy Beds, Happy 4th !

We finally made the switch to toddler beds and they LOVE them and are doing Great ! It has been about 2 weeks and no one has got up when they are not supposed to and they sleep wonderful in them. They like them during the day to sit and read on. We made the rule that no toys are allowed on the beds that way they don't get in the habit of playing with toys during sleeping times and they have done great with that as well. Guess I should not have put this transition off so long.

We hope you had a wonderful 4th. We just spent the day working around here. And then went to the park in town after supper for fireworks. They were a little scared at first but then they loved them after the first few. Jonathan said they look like snow. They had a blast at at the park watching.

Gracie Update

I am sorry I am slacking with the updates, but I am down to every 2 weeks with check ups. Time is flying by she will be here in 6 weeks !! I cant believe it is almost over. I went to the doc last week and everything is looking good. I had been cramping a ton so I ask about that and she checked me and Gracie has already decided to drop so she is very low and that is why I cramping. But no dilation yet so we are thankful for that. I am feeling good with the exception of the cramps and pelvic pain. But she did not for see any real problems and it looks as though she will wait till time to be delivered. I will keep you updated ..
