Hope everyone is doing good..
We are doing great, enjoying this start to summer. I go back to the doctor on Monday so I will post a update on Gracie then. And post some new pics of the boys.
We just sent out a family letter so I am going to post it here also.
Tindell Family Update
Hello to all from the Tindell Family. We hope all is going well and that you are enjoying God’s creation in this beautiful spring of the year. Please slow down and take the time to enjoy the many blessings that God so richly provides.
All is going well here in Athens. We have now been here for two years and are finally getting some things in order. We are still attending Halls Baptist Church in Knoxville, the commute has not been too bad, plus it gives us extra time to spend with our families. We have been happily married four years this May. Our love just keeps growing and we are learning ways to make our relationship stronger with each year that passes. We have planted our first garden as a family this year and hope to cut down on some of these high grocery bills. All of us are enjoying the work and learning new things. The boys love to “help” with the gardening. There will be a new precious gift to our Family in August this year, we are anticipating her arrival. Baby Gracie’s due date is August twentieth. This year we have started a family blog site, so family and friends can look at pictures and updates of the boys and soon to be Gracie. I try to update it every few weeks; it is www.tindellfamily.blogspot.com, if you are interested in checking it out.
Matt is doing great, his office is in Cleveland but he travels to different Tindells locations on a daily basis. He enjoys the traveling and is always learning something new. Tindells has taken on a new adventure this year which is green building and energy efficient homes. Matt has been taking several classes and seminars at the local college to prepare to work in this field which he is looking forward to. Business has been slow but steady the past few months, which gives him more time to learn about new things. As soon as he pulls in from work everyday he is greeted at the door by the boys with hugs, kisses, balls being thrown at him, and being begged to ride the tractor and four-wheeler. He spends lots of time outside with the boys. They are learning fast to be Daddy’s helpers. How blessed is he to have two boys to work by his side.
I am doing wonderful, 24 weeks along at this point. This pregnancy has been wonderful and normal. We are so blessed this time around and give all the praise to the Lord for his constant provision in our daily lives. Gracie is much different than the boys were at this point, she must have much more room. She moves all the time especially at night. Many nights I lay awake and just laugh at her, I’m not sure what she is doing in there sometimes. Her kicks are just now hard enough for the boys to feel them, they are amazed with it. I am not sure they understand but it is so neat to see their little minds working to figure it out. I am keeping busy getting things in order for her arrival. The boys and I have a schedule we follow to make our day go smooth. Keeping up with them and the other daily task’s is always exciting. I love my job as a stay at home mommy and would not trade for all the money in the world. I often say we would eat pork and beans before I would go to work. I love to wake up each morning and say “I wonder what fun we will have today.” The boys are such a joy and a blessing to have in life.
Jeremiah is growing so fast and is looking like a big boy. His speech has exploded. He talks in full sentences which are so funny. Our recent funny conversation was when we were driving one day and passed a red barn. Jonathan said “look a house”, I said “no it is a barn” Jeremiah quickly informed us that “it is a horse house”. It is so cute to see what he will say next. He is our big helper and loves to do what ever daddy or mommy is doing at the time, he would rather help than play. He loves to play the fishing game, dig in the dirt, farm animals, books, and anything ball related. He loves to learn to do things himself. He is very excited about Gracie and loves to rub and kiss on mommy’s belly. He has a baby doll that he takes care of daily, so sweet. He has such a caring and compassionate heart.
Jonathan is finally growing a little but is still a bit smaller than Jeremiah size wise. I will say he is the tougher/rougher of the two. If you make him mad you better get out of his way. He does have a cuddling side which he loves just sitting and loving and get loved on. His speech is coming along. I can understand about everything he says, still hard for others but he is progressing quickly. Lately in the past few months he has grown leaps and bounds in all areas. He loves all sports and is amazingly great at all of them. We had him evaluated a few months ago and one of the notes the therapist took was how well he can hit a baseball and golf ball. He would rather play then help most of the time. He is the explorer and likes to wonder. We have to keep a close eye on him or he will be half a mile away in seconds, just looking around. He is not as sure about Gracie yet, not sure if he really understands yet, but when she gets her he will love her I think.
God has so richly blessed our family and continues to do so. We are so amazed and thankful by his loving hand and protection in our lives. We send each of you love and blessings.
Love,
Matt, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Jeremiah, Gracie
